The V&A Waterfront is not a shopping centre or business park, it is a community and a neighbourhood. The tenants that work and operate businesses there are an important part of this community, and ongoing support to SMMEs is provided by the V&A Waterfront.
We were challenged to develop a campaign that demonstrated the V&A Waterfront’s investment in their tenants, and which engaged them while offering skills development and real human connection. We needed to create something that made people proud to be based at the V&A Waterfront and to value being there over another business park, shopping centre or developer.
We also needed to demonstrate the V&A Waterfront’s belief that there is always a better way of doing things - as a purpose-driven community, it values sustainability above everything else. Lastly, we needed to inform, inspire and engage their B2B audience, and we needed to do it beautifully.
Our answer was the V&A Xchange – an event series that brought people together, created conversations and communicated the V&A Waterfront’s purpose-driven ethos.
